Something Medical Always Seems to Happen to Me before My Birthday...........

This year - it was a stent!
No history of heard disease...
My bloodwork gets done on a regular basis, because - don't forget, I am a diabetic.
Was having chest pains - even my echo-cardiogram looked good.
Was scheduled to have a stress test, but I wound up driving myself to the ER 4 days prior - couldn't wait -- pain was becoming more frequent.

I WAS TOLD THAT I COULD HAVE HAD A HEART ATTACK

... Wait, WHAT?!

(there was a 90=% blockage in one of my arteries on the left side)

I do want to mention though that I now have a FANTASTIC cardiologist! He is part of a heart group in Ridgewood NJ. I needed to see a dr asap - and he was the first one available - boy did I luck out!! I couldn't have picked a better doctor if I had wanted to. I guess a higher power had it all lined up for me :)
